Just off the A338 from Hungerford towards Pewsey, Haredown Farm is a period house situated in a tranquil setting amongst the rolling Wiltshire countryside, conveniently located near the historic towns of Hungerford and Marlborough. In the nearby village of Great Bedwyn there are train connections to London, Reading & Heathrow, also to the West Country. It is a great base for local shoots, golfing, walking, cycling or horse riding, whether it is for a short break or longer. We have two bikes that can be hired at a small cost.
Haredown was formerly a working farm but now is a family home, with horses, goats, chickens, ducks etc. It is set amongst 11 acres of paddocks and gardens and is an ideal place to relax or to also bring your horse/horses. It provides high quality stabling and turn out.
Guests will receive a warm welcome and will be greeted with tea/coffee in a private lounge, with roaring log fire on cold days. Breakfast is served in an elegant dining room which is cooked in the Aga. All products used will be organic, free range eggs & meat produced from local farms or eggs from our own chickens.
There is a lovely garden where tea and drinks etc can be taken outside in the summer. Also guests can have the use of the heated swimming pool and tennis court by prior arrangement.
There is plenty of parking available as well as a guests boot room where wet coats and walking boots can be left to dry.
We also offer a pick up/collection service from Great Bedwyn or Hungerford railway stations.
