Local attractions
Great Bedwyn is situated a short distance away from Hungerford and Marlborough. Hungerford is an historic town with the Kennett & Avon Canal running through it. It has a lovely Tea Room called Tutti Pole and is famous for it's antique shops and wonderful antique arcade. There is also a lovely water meadow where you can walk and watch the wild life.
Marlborough is an historic market town with an array of shops, including Polly's Tea Room and there are a variety of pubs and restaurants. There is also a golf club situated just outside Marlborough.

The M4 is only fifteen minutes away; you can be in London in an hour. Heathrow airport is 1¼ hours away. The Cotswolds are 45 minutes away, Stonehenge about 45 minutes, Avebury 40 minutes and The Pewsey Vale 20 minutes. Bath with its spas is approximately 1 hour away. We are also not far from Newbury Races and Lambourn which is the heart of horse racing country.
Great Bedwyn has a couple of lovely pubs with good food. There is also a local bakery where bread and cakes are still baked on the premises; a local shop and a post office. You can hire a long boat for a leisurely trip down the Kennet & Avon canal from the village or you can just take a lovely walk along the tow path.
Little Bedwyn is next to Great Bedwyn where you can find it's famous restaurant The Harrow.
There are lots of villages near by with good pubs and lovely thatched cottages. It is an ideal location for walking, biking, riding etc.
